He began working at Solano Pride Center in 2022 as an Associate Clinician. He brings a person-centered focus on the clients’ goals, hopes, and dreams. In therapy, Kacen has a reflecting and questioning style.

Their college studies include a bachelor’s degree in an interdisciplinary program of psychology, sociology and feminist studies. Kacen completed a master’s in social work.

Among the plethora of theoretical approaches Kacen may include Dialectical Behavioral therapy and Cognitive Behavioral therapy. Another important part in therapy is building the therapeutic relationship between client(s) and therapist. Kacen’s clinical interests include anxiety, panic, depression, sensory overload, and processing/integration differences. He has experience working with neurodivergent, LGBTQIA2S+, teens and adults.

Kacen spends his time cooking, going on meditative walks, lifting weights, and reading astrology.
