PFLAG Solano is reorganizing! After several years’ dormancy a new local chapter is now holding meetings on the first Wednesday of every month, at 8 pm at the Solano Pride Center, Fairfield. Parents, family and friends, energetic supporters and people who “just” need to talk about it to someone are encouraged to come participate.
PFLAG was founded over 35 years ago by one determined mother who wanted to support her Gay son. Since then, thousands of people going through turmoil over the comingout of a child, spouse or other family member have sought out PFLAG for a “friendly ear”, or place to be a staunch ally for GLBT rights.
