The Solano Pride Center, originally known as the Advisory Committee for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Youth, was established in January 1998.  The first youth group began meeting in April of that year in Fairfield and was an immediate success.

In July 1998 the GLBTQ Youth Advisory Committee broadened its focus and changed its name to the Solano Pride Center.

In 2001, we became an official 501 3(c) non-profit organization.

The organization is comprised of a volunteer Executive Director and a Board of Directors.
